Half of the year gone....just like that!

Wow, half of the year gone and I still have no significant achievement during the past 6 months…
I feel so unproductive but discreetly I like this kind of life coz level stress is almost zero. (Minus work-stress level, LOL)

Not attending courses or lessons for the time being and basically I only lazy-ing around, not even want to use my brain to study (Jap) or learn about new set of skill (SAP/ other skills). During free time, I only do blogging or exercising or (ahem) watching youtube video, drama marathon such as Game of Thrones, Walking Dead, and some Japanese dorama, haizz….

Ok, let me recap on what I’ve done in the past 6 months:
  1. January: planning new year resolutions, listing out the show of gratitude, and so on.
  2. Feb:  attending new course for 4 sessions in one of the sister’s house.
  3. March: Boracay holiday, hehe.
  4. April: itchy hand and buy new phone. Mother came, the healing testimony. It’s like an eye opener to me to keep healthy life-style by eating right and exercise. and open up my eye spiritually to get closer to God.
  5. May: Starting yoga and exercise like nobody business and busy collecting Hello Kitty plush toys. What an achievement!
  6. June: Taylor Swift’s concert. Spoiler, but I’m going for One Direction concert next march!

On a side note….

Giselle now is P1 student so literally I need to help her to do Math homework, which of course still easy peasy for me but I have difficulty to teach her how to get the answer rather than giving her the answer directly. You know, I learnt Math in Bahasa, not in English, so I need to understand the question in my own language, then re-phrase it in English, and teach her how to get the answer patiently
That’s the challenge, sometime after my explanation she still doesn’t understand aarrgghhh I gotta raise my voice so that she can re-think again and (hopefully) understand. Actually, she is a smart girl, but just lazy and lack of determination.
I really salute to those teachers out there who have patience to teach students, I don’t think I can handle it, man. I where got patience to explain over and over again!? *take a deep breath*
But after finish doing homework, it’s a play time so I will give her reward (chocolate, ice cream, sweets) so at least she feels appreciated. Not mention I always tell her, “good job! Clever girl! I know you can do it! Keep it up” and keep repeating it until my mouth swollen in the end of session.  LOL.

Ok enough about her, now it’s about me.

I’ve been receiving tons of invitations, from backpackers to another continent, taking up new challenges, until the invitation taking up a new course. I’m in confusion state right now and need to reboot my mind again because all of these things, all these little things will affect my plan that I’ve already blue-printed since beginning of the year.

I know God has plans for me and His plan is always good, but I don’t think I’m ready spiritually and physically. I just feel, not ready yet. Sorry! It’s not about me, I know, It’s about God.  I fully understand. Although theoretically I know which one should I choose but sometime my conscience said otherwise. L But now, I’m just trying my best to serve as much as I could, without a single complaint. I would prefer small commitment for the time being…Maybe after Giselle can be independent w/o me then I will reconsider again…

.
.
.

So overall, I’m so excited for the next half of the year. There will be lots of things going on:

  1.  I’ll be taking prep class for N3 and the test will be on Dec…busy busy studying again!

  1. My yoga lesson will be continued until the month of October…maybe I will continue to do yoga for the rest of my life….or join Hot Yoga class with Mel!? :-)

  1. My braces will be taken off very soon and I'm considering teeth whitening system or preventive system such as fluoride/scaling and polishing that kind of thing (that will be under 1 topic separately). Not mention to utilize dental insurance plan to do some fillings, etc…

  1. I have enrolled to a new ministry, already confirmed with team lead but no news yet…

  1. On the top of that, guide Giselle on her study…I was thinking to enrol her for swimming lesson but seeing my skin condition now shy to the sun, I will re-consider again…

  1.  I ‘m still planning to take up marathon for this year…but just don’t know when.

  1. In another two more months, it’s time to do health screening again. I’m a bit traumatize because the last time I did health screening, I found a lump in my breast. Then kancheong for the rest of the year…Oh noo…hopefully this year health screening will be a smooth sailing and the result will be just fine.  Now I have revelation of the importance of health.

  1.  And the list goes on and on….All these things keep on repeating in my mind until I couldn’t sleep and fall sick. Now I have lower back pain (aging soon!?) so I really need to pen down all of my plans and start to relax. Haiz….

I’m not sure how am I going to cope with this schedule. Sorry for random thoughts, it’s all about me and me and me but this is my blog so hey, why do I need to apology in the first place.

Ok, I think I need to stop now before I'm going crazy! Ciao!

Haba Moist White Beauty Drink

Yo!

That day, I was reading Vivawoman’s post about Haba Moist White Beauty collagen drink. And I was so fascinated with the immediate result just after one drink!

In the end of her post, there are grand prizes for 5 lucky winners to win 1 box of Haba drink worth S$49! Without second thought, I quickly write a review and like via Facebook.

One week after, I received notification that I’m one of the 5 lucky winners, yeah!

Side track a bit....

FYI, collagen drink best served chilled and drink during night time, just before sleep. I don’t know why but they said because our body (including skin cells and internal organs) are in repairing –stage when we’re sleeping. So for the best absorption, it is recommended to slap on skincare or take beauty supplement during night time, to maximize its benefits.

As you know, the brand I always support is no longer available in Singapore. Ok, that brand name is Fancl. In fact, if I remember correctly, the third week of taking their collagen drink, I started to break out a little bit but my complexion was super smooth and and healthier, I just don’t understand why. So I decided to take on alternate nights, then reduce to twice a week and so on....luckily the breakout calms down.

Hmm...Is it maybe now I’m in the age that doesn’t really need those collagens yet!?  Maybe this product is more suitable for mature woman!?  Not sure though....

Price wise:

Last time Fancl HTC Collagen cost $61.50 for 1 box for 10 bottles, content of 2600mg of HTC Collagen.
DHC collagen drink is cheaper, with $49.90 for 1 box, a bottle content of 7000mg of Collagen.
Haba is lagi much cheaper, only $49, a bottle of this content of 3000mg of Collagen.

But I'm not sure this is the way how we calculate the value. One's human body only can absorb certain amount of Collagen each day, so higher Collagen doesn't mean better result to the skin, do I make any sense!?

My personal experience

On the first day, I can feel like my face healthier with even skin tone but not really that white like a ghost. And then, less visible pores so as a result, less oily. I only blot my face once a day! Love it to the max coz it's really an immediate result just in one drink!

As a result, my makeup can last longer through out the day. No breakout (as per now) and I hope this product won’t break me out (touch wood)!

So now my mission is to finish this beauty drink in alternate nights not every night (in order to prevent breakout).

Frankly, I don’t think I can keep this as a lifestyle, man…it’s just too expensive for me. I couldn’t imagine to maintain this + Obagi system at the same time for a long period of time!

But I highly recommend for those who really ON with this kind of beauty drink routine. I believe the beauty of our skin is not only from outside slapping topical cream, but also from inside, like eating healthily and taking beauty supplement.

Collagen is good in moderate no matter how old or young we are. And Haba drink is certainly one of those beauty drink that worth to give it a try!

Oh ya, not only collagen drink, Haba also has wide range of beauty product, all Mutenka products (preservative-free) from skin care, make up, and beauty supplement!

Furby Boom- Loo Dah!

Oppss... actually I bought this Furby since last Dec, during our Hongkong trip.

But I keep on procrastinate in writing this post until its finally collect dust in my draft items.

Until I literally forget about it.

So!

Ahem!

Firstly,  don't ask me how much!

My heart still pains when I remember it, even when we bought at airport to avoid 7% GST, it is still cost a bomb for a kind of toys like this. :-(

And adding to my guilty...

Actually last year, Giselle keep on watching the youtube video about Furby for the past few months. Seeing her interest to this toy, I asked her, do you want to buy this? She said, yes she wants, but don't need to buy for her now, because father will be the one who buy for her during her birthday (which like 3-4 months later, counting from that point of time).

Then to buy us *some time* , we bought her a Furby plush toy, which only cost only $20 and she seems so happy and contented just only for few weeks. What kind of cheapo mother am I....

But still, inside my heart, I really want to give her something that she desire, without giving her impression of *spoiling her*, you know what I mean?

So on her birthday, I bought Furby Boom, just after touched down in Changi airport.

Bazaar during Puasa month (in Singapore)

Bulan Puasa, or in English: Fasting month.

It's a holy month for muslim all over the world, for they need to fast, can't eat, can't drink, (I heard can't even swallow the saliva, too!) for approximately 30 days, before Hari Raya.

Well, in fact that I'm not muslim and yet, I love the ambience of this holy month.

Where many people will try to do good deeds such as giving*sedekah*to the poor people, many people will be in holy state, control their hunger, thirst, and anger.

Oh... I hope it's not only happen in this month but every month, too!

Another thing that I like about bulan Puasa is....the bazaar!

There are tons of Bazaar during fasting month but the one that I always visit is the one just behind Sultan Mosque. I think if I'm not mistaken, the bazaar open at 2-3pm, all the way until Buka Puasa time.

Let's the picture's rolling, babe!

Ice Chendol! sedap gila!

U guess how much!? $4!
Too sweet (for me) though.

Hmmm next visit must try this!

My fave shop still haven't open yet, I guess I come too early!
Love their Macaroni goreng!
