The Bucket List

Last week me and my good friend were in conversation, very interesting topics about bucket list. What is Bucket List?

The Bucket List is a comedy drama movie which have a little bit of Christianity touched. Starring Academy Award winners, Jack Nicholson and Morgan Freeman. ( I recognized Morgan Freeman starred as a God in Bruce Almighty, hehehe....) I watched this movie with my Care Group last year , have been my inspirational motivation to make my own bucket list, and its gone...and its back again (coz my friend discussed about it again)

So what is Bucket List exactly? For those who have watched the movie, you should know what it is but for those who have not watched, ( you should watched it!? ) Bucket list is actually the list of activities or goals that you wanna achieve in your life. Not exactly have to be a Godly one, could be anything that you wish to do, you'd like to do, and you want to do...

Here are my bucket list:
1. Do extreme sport ( Bungee Jumping, Sky Diving, Surfing, etc...)
2. Attend concert music
3. Laugh ( to myself) to heart's content
4. Ponder a verse monthly
5. Read a spiritual book quarterly
6. Learn new language
7. Ons
8. ...
9. ...
10. ...
See how simple my bucket lists are...So guys, what are your bucket list? If you dont have, make one yeah...and share with me so that we can pray each other's bucket list or maybe we can make it happen together, hehehe...

Good Luck

Battlefield of mind...Begin!

Recently I feel very sick...very sick.

I am sick of telling lies whether it is big lies or small lies, white lies or black lies, or whatever lies anymore.

Especially in my workplace whereby I have to tell lies or should I call it as "create a nonsense story" in order to cover up someone's mistake. Not only once, it happened all the time. I think right now I am reaching a maturity stage of this module named complaining , and bitching a story which I couldnt stand it anymore...

Another things that I hate the most is, been scolded of because someone's mistake. Well, we are working as a team, every thing that we do is connected to each other so if 1 person didnt really do the job well, it will affect our perfomance then...who will *kena scolded from customer!? well you guess....sickening...haha...Give you example, if we got orders from customer and the products are quite new, Product manager will have to create material into system to mark this particular product. Normally creating material is like bread and butter for them which it can be done in less than an hour. Well, just because, they didn't do it, it will be pending for few days. As a result, it will impact our order processing SLA. Then the best part, who will get the complaint!? yes, its me...In this situation I have to use my imaginary brain to bitching a totally non-sense story, apologise and bla bla bla....Imagine this happen all the time...its extremely tiring and unproductive at all...

Another thing is, email. can you imagine how many emails that I receive everyday?   Hundreds!!!
If I take MC or 1 day leave, the next day I back to the office..that's it!!! end of the world! I've got to clear it as soon as possible as everybody is chasing for the order to be done or processed. They'll call, msn, email, call again, msn again, email again till it get done.

It's just a matter of time when my imaginary brain struck my mind and command myself to throw a resignation letter. But I dont want to give my boss such an impression, because I am holding PR, then I can do whatever I want...what you call that...irresponsible!? Dis-integrity!? Childish!?  you name it...Well, in the end, it's just probably my imaginary thinking due to frustration at workplace. My left brain said, come on do whatever you want to do...life is short. My right brain said, come on you have made known that intregrity is made by discipline and hardwork. Strive on and pray to God for a wisdom. Battlefield of mind...Begin!

Get active for 150 minutes per week

Hi, check this out! Health Promotion Board recommended at least 150 minutes exercise per week. Here is the reason why we must exercise.

The benefit of exercise.

Exercise brings benefit to our body, It can improve body metabolism, stamina, shape our body, improve quality of sleep, promotes healthy heart, etc... and the lists goes on...Moreover, it helps to release endorphins hormones which good for your body. What is endorphins? Endorphins is a good hormones within your body, when they are released through exercise, you'll feel good about yourself, when you feel good, the risk of getting stress is lower. In short, exercise can combat stress, too. I am extremely amazed with how exercise can benefit us. So what are you waiting for? Grab shoes and water bottle, run for your life!:-)

Here is my work out plan...I am so happy that I've been stick with it for the past few months... and what a coincidence that my office just open up a small gym, too...bravo! just to remind myself to always stay hydrated before, during, and after exercise...remember that the goal is not about losing weight. It's about to lead a healthier life style. The key is commitment and discipline.

Weekly Work out plan:
Monday-Work out in office's gym (45mins)
Tuesday or Friday- Swimming (45mins)
Saturday- Brisk walk in the nearby park (60 mins)
Walk from MRT station to office 5 days a week= (10min X 5= 50 mins)

I feel contented with this small and simple weekly work out plan for the time being. I was tempted to sign up a fitness package in town, especially after getting a call from one of  fitness centre in Singapore...but was hold up because I don't really have much time and the place is also very far...Anyway, I still commit to my Japanese study which without fail, took my entire weekdays night just to cope up with the lesson...yeah that's my life...very busy (again!?) hahaha....

Yet right now, I am content to myself...As I finally have accomplished to design my Starbucks tumbler which have been postponed for about 2 months ago. It took me about an hour to design it (well its actually just cut and stick on the template) and viola!! Here is the pics:

There are actually lots of Starbucks template which can be downloaded free in the website...But I just satisfied with my own design...I swear I'll stick to this tumbler 24/7, motivate me to drink water more often...What an accomplishment! Well done, Deb...clap clap...
