Tokyo Day 4- City sightseeing

After 2 consecutive days in DisneyLand and DisneySea. Day 4, which is the next day, we went touring around the city. Visited the most tourist-ty places and taken compulsory pictures. Walking nonstop. Eating nonstop. But funny eh even if I ate nonstop, I didn't put on weight. :-D

Let's the photos roll....

First destination: Asakusa

Lots of rickshaws offering tour city, short and long distance, price is bargain-able but we opt-out that coz it's damn expensive and I prefer walk rather than ask someone to push me around. haha.

Compulsory photos at Asakusa

And then inside the shrine, there is a big altar and decoration thingy (for spiritual purposes, I supposed).  People are busying taking photos or chatting or....drawing Omikuji...the written fortune.

Unfortunately, my fortune is not so fortunate :-(

It's actually near to the Sky Tree.
It wouldn't complete without eating Dango! Yummy!

And then, beautiful garden scenery. Feels like in emperor olden age!

Oh ya lots of scenery photos but Imma skip these and.... move to Tokyo SkyTree.
We passed by Azumahashi  to get a closer look to the tower and all surrounding area. Behind us is Sumida river.

Closer look at Tokyo SkyTree.

Unfortunately when we went there, they were closed due to the bad weather. Again, I thought bad weather is like typhoon or thunderstorm or tsunami that kind. Actually their *bad weather* is because of big wind. OMG. Same thing happened when we went to DisneyLand at day 2. The fireworks was cancelled due to the bad weather. a.k.a big wind....ggrrr....now thinking about it make me angry! :-(

Snap outside Tokyo SkyTree closed due to the bad weather
Sigh....

But not to worry, we didn't sweat over the small thing, and decided to visit Sumida Aquarium instead!
It's like Sea World Ancol, Jakarta but more high-class abit.

Lunch at food court....not bad eh I think the standard food in Tokyo is pretty high.

Next destination, Shibuya to shopping...*ahem...window shopping. We afford to buy something honestly speaking but don't know ler, I'd rather to spend Y for buying omiyage or buying entrance ticket for tourist attractions.

Hachiko statue

Mel and Deb with Hachiko statue
As this is famous as meeting point,
I don't think we can snap picture without people behind us as a background.

My eyes look small here but I damn look like stylo milo...

in front of Shibuya 109
went inside to see what is Emoda looks like.

Dinner time! We visited Gonpachi for dinner! The Kill Bill Restaurant!

Even Johnny Depp ate here before! OMG!

This meal costs me Y 1550

Oh ya, I suggest if you going to travel alot by train, buying 1 day pass Tokyo Metro is cheaper and hassle-free.
Y 1000 unlimited rides within Tokyo Metro.

 Finish day 4.

Last day 5 and the next following day, before our holiday ended.

stay tune!

:-D
