Hand Therapy Gloves By Talika

I got this interesting products from CozyCot's goodie bag last month. Not sure how much is this but since it's free so I gave it a try.
Basically the gloves inside contains a gel that will moisturised the skin. Intensively.
Very easy to use. After wash my hand clean, just put on the gloves for 30 minutes. That's it! The gel will provide a soothing and hydrating properties which will completely absorbs into my hand. And I found my hand sooo smooth like a baby after take off the gloves.
The gloves can be used up to 40 times and it washable (with lukewarm water only). Here are the pics:

Durian Festive

One of the reason I love Singapore is because of Durian Festive. I loveee to eat Durian.

I pity of those people who doesn't like to eat Durian, either it's because of the strong scent or taste. Poor you!

Oh dear, Durian.... it's like HEAVEN to me. So these post is about  Durian, Durian, and Durian. :-D

Durian is called as the King of the fruits. Only harvest in Asia such as Bangkok, Malaysia, and Indonesia. The harvest season comes only twice a year. It is important to know how to choose a good edible Durian.

Many Durian seller, sell it in a styrofoam, either its fresh or frozen. But the best is, choosing Durian fresh from its shell. How to choose, based on my experience.

1. Pick up the Durian fruit (using gloves or cloth) carefully and smell it. I mean, sniff it.
If it's too pungent meaning too ripe. If it's not pungent meaning not ripe. The best is moderate scent of sweet Durian.

2. Then place it between your palm carefully, next to your ear,  give a little shake. If there is no sound meaning too ripe. If the sounds is loud knocking meaning not ripe. The best is subtle and moderate sound of knocking.

3. Then it's time to open the Durian. Don't ask me how to open it, ask the Durian seller to open for you la! I just know they used a big sharp knife to open. From below part of Durian, they cut an opening and use their hands to break the Durian "line" up.  Durian is ready to serve.

Add on: After eating Durian, there will be some Durian smell linger on your mouth. Don't worry according to old folks (don't know it's true anot), rinse your mouth with the tap water flowing passing the Durian shell. It is believed can lessen the strong smell of Durian. Well, I think brush teeth and rinse with mouthwash does make sense to me.

So what are you waiting for? Need a company to eat Durian together? :-D

Girls are like apples on the trees

Ever heard this quote before?

Girls are like apples on the trees. The best ones are at the top of the tree. The boys don't want to reach for the goods one because they are afraid of falling and getting hurt. Instead, they just aim for the rotten apples from the ground, that aren't as good, but easy. So the apples on the top think something is wrong with them. When in reality, they are amazing. They just have to wait for the right boy to come along, the one who brave enough to climb all the way to the top of the tree.

Chanel Rouge Coco

It was started with a conversation with my sister. She wanted me to check the price of a Chanel lipstick. Chanel Rouge Coco is the name for your info.

Then I went to ION Orchard to check, Chanel is just opposite Orchard MRT station, inside ION building. The price is...okay..*ahem*...almost doubled up MAC lipstick.
I really fall in love with the colours. Its just so soft and natural even after thick application. After trying almost all the colours, I decided to buy Magnolia 117 for my sister (by her request) and Gardenia 13 for myself.

Great Singapore Sale- June 2012

Warning!!!

This is going to be a rambling post…so a bit boring la, no motivation to blog about product reviews. Recently my life is just sooo boring coz I just busy with work and study. There are 4 updates:

First, school holiday is coming….meaning I have to entertain my daughter, Giselle...
She has lots of free time due to school holiday, so I applied few days leave (which applied long time ago already) and plan to bring her go out, having a quality time together. I still persuading my sister to come from Jakarta, hehehe…come come, sis….But my mum is here since last week already.

Okie, I am not saying that I can’t take care of my own daughter but sometime I need a helping hand. Luckily my mum is good enough to come and support me…thanks, Mum :-D
Since Giselle already nagged want to go to the zoo, snow city, and bird park during school holiday so I shall grant her wishes! Sorry no USS trip this year!

Second, Great Singapore Sale. Aside from school holiday, GSS is here! Time for a retail-therapy! Deplete our wallet and extend our wardrobe with many clothes, shoes, accessories… :-D If you go to Orchard, you’ll find lots of tourist shopping around.

Third, My JLPT test is coming up soon.

It’s on first Sunday of July, like a month away from now! Extremely nervous! What I did is study study study…brainlessly…yeah! At least I try to study an hour every day before I head to bed. Wish me luck ya!
After this JLPT, I don’t really have any goals…maybe I should try the conversation class which is more challenging. Haha let’s see how!

Last but not the least, I attend Zumba class at my office.

It’s been a month since I joined Zumba class. The class is so fun, lots of laughter, and of course, I extremely suffer from muscle-aches after exercise….maybe I shake my bum too hard. But I like the feeling of dancing and moving or shaking bum/ belly. Just feel sooo sexy from inside. (err actually from outside, maybe I shake like a robot, hehehe)

Frankly speaking, I have a passion in dancing/ fitness class, should I enroll for a fitness class in Amore? Tempted to join their 1 year member! Anyway, my numbers ain’t going down although I’ve on diet and exercise regularly. I think I grow muscle instead. I feel like I sweat a lotssss thru minor movements. Oh and I sleep a lot, too, hehehe…

Yep, that would be all. Pax Vobiscum!
