Clarisonic Skin Care System

I just want to share how I love my skin nowadays. Special thanks to Clarisonic, my holy grail, my sanctuary, my lover, my everything...you can name it!

I bought this Clarisonic last year, if I am not mistaken, same period with my friends, Nita, when she bought Hitachi Face Crie...You remember sis, we were rambling and discussing about our *beauty naughty* Xmas or CNY present for ourself, you had an eye of Hitachi ( Japan brand) and I completely crazy over Clarisonic (US brand)...well two different continents, two different companies, but serve same purposes for the sake of beauty :-) I feel absolutely blessed being a women, simply because we have lots things to discover, to talk to , to discuss to and it definitely make our life so lively.




Okay, back to the topic.

1. What is Sonic Cleansing?

Cleansing is essential to achieve a healthy skin. Like it anot, cleansing is a first step in any skin ritual, so do not underestimate for the power of cleansing. When you cleanse your face clean enough, it will helps to absorb the products that you are going to apply later such as sunblock, moisturiser, serum, even night cream. So sonic cleansing is basically a tool to cleanse, using a patented sonic frequency of more than 300 movements per second to gently and thoroughly remove make up, oil and dirt, more effectively than cleansing with your hands alone.

2. What the benefit of Sonic Cleansing?

• Remove make up 6 X more than manual cleansing
• Gently remove oil and dirt in pores/ deepest skin
• Reduce oil area, patches, and blemishes
• Achieve smoother, radiance, and easy to absorb skin (coz the products will be absorbed better and produce its best result)

3. How is the products?

There are 4 types of Clarisonic which can be found here. 

Clarisonic Classic, Clarisonic PLUS ( for face and body) , Clarisonic Mia (portable), and Clarisonic Mia 2 (extended from portable Mia). But unfortunately, only Clarisonic PLUS available in Singapore at the moment. If you buy in Sephora, the price is slightly expensive rather than buying online. But in return, you will get $40 voucher which can be redeemed with a brush ( just add $2+). Moreover, you will get a local warranty. So if anything happen to your Clarisonic within a year,  you may bring it back to be replaced for a brand new product....How cool is that! Here is the quick glance!

4. How to use it?

For first timer, you've got to fully charged it before use. Just put into the charging cradle and plug into electric socket. I am not sure how long must you charge for the first time but for me personally, I charged until the 4 lights fully blinking which took approximately 24 hours. The battery will last about a week plus. For the next use, just put it into charging cradle (stand by mode) , leave it overnight or when not in use, and its ready to use. 

Make use of Clarisonic two times a day. Firstly wet your skin, apply cleanser at the brush head, use circular motion then runs it gently onto your face.

Hey, this is the interesting part....as the machine has already been programmed automatically, so each time you press the start button, it will vibrate for 60 seconds....and there will be a *beep* in interval. So 20 seconds on forehead, 20 seconds on nose and cheek, 10 seconds on each cheek. Total 60 seconds. Honestly speaking, I was a bit confuse with the *beep and all the stuff, but believe me, you will get used to it in no time, I definitely enjoy it, a totally fun way to cleanse my face, love it soooo much!! After that, rinse your face with water and you can feel your face skin tight...radiant...and smooth...ready for the next step of skin routine.

5. Brush Heads.

There are 3 types brush heads, normal, sensitive, and delicate. It is recommended to change the brush head every 3 months so it wont collect bacteria. Rinse brush thoroughly after every use, keep clean and dry all the time to maximize its function.

6. Warnings.

Do not use Clarisonic with the abrasive products such as scrub and any kind of exfoliation products. It will hurt your skin pretty badly! For me, I prefer to use foam cleanser or gel cleanser, lather it with both hands and put the foam in the brush heads. Work it out gently onto face for 60 seconds...Yup, 60 seconds to achieve a clean and healthy skin. That's the beauty of Clarisonic.
