Pineapple Puff Pastry

Last sunday after Sunday School, Giselle attended baking class again.
If you are wondering about the price. One time session is about $50 but if you buy package 10X session is $300. Meaning the more you buy, the cheaper it is.

Okay, it's time to make.....

Pineapple Puff Pastry

As usual, after wear apron, chef hat, wash hands and all the stuff.
Not to forget to pose before the class started.

Yeay, I am going to make Pineapple puff for mummy
*heart melts*

First step, cut the pastry margarine into small pieces. Don't worry, they used the plastic knife, you know, the one we used to spread the butter on the bread)
Mix with the plain flour....manually with hands.....

mix mix mix
*lucky already wash hands just now*

Then, add 2 Tbsp of cold water and 1 Tbsp of lemon juice into the bowl.
Scrunch the flour until it become a dough- like

Then roll roll roll your dough....

I find some steps are not really meant for a 5 years old kid yet.
E.g. rolling dough and cut it into square-shaped will definitely need help from the teacher.
If only teachers are attentive enough....I think in 1 class could only have max 4 kids with 2 assistants. The less kids the better, though.

Then put the pineapple (cut into pieces already) and fold triangle shaped.
Put in the tray.
Spread some butter and egg yolk and sprinkle some sugar on it. It's to give some crunchy- top coat
Ready for bake.

Baked for about 30 mins.
I could not get tired of admiring this oven again and again.

Well done
It is yummie!

Yeay! I can join Junior Masterchef!

Okay, for those who don't know, Junior Masterchef Australia is cooking competition, which aired every Tuesday @8pm in OKTO channel. The kids range from 8 to 12 years old cooks from around Australia, gathered to compete in Junior Masterchef. Catch up the programme it's really interesting to watch! You'll be amazed on how superb the kitchen is....And how young kids can make a very scrumptious meal. *ashamed to myself...LOL*

Okay, that's all.
Ciao!
