Q3 of 2014 just about to end soon...

Wah! Time flies so fast!

This month is busy month!

And I just realized this month I haven’t done a single post yet!

Basically....

I hardly had time for myself and let alone to allow me to sit down and blog coz I’m so damn busy and every time I have spare time I would prefer to study and clear some emails at work. My work is more and more challenging every day.  Like seriously!? why all these things happened and people come and go and just push all the responsibilities to me!?

And sadly...

I’m too busy until I forget to register N3 exam and guess what!? I missed the last date of registration and just realized it about a week later! OMG!

.
.
.

Meaning to say, even if I join the prep class now, and study hard, and memorize the kanji by all my heart and soul, it’s pointless as I still cannot go the exam on Dec.

Meaning to say, I’ve wasted my half a year again, and only be able to go for next July test, provided if I don’t miss out the registration again!

Meaning to say, stupid me bubblehead! this is the first time I forgot such as important date. Like seriously, nowadays I have this syndrome short term memory loss, always forgetting thing and all that. Maybe soon I will forget my birthday's date!

Sadness to the max!!

:-(

Keep on blaming myself. And it kept going on for few nights till I couldn't sleep :-(

My mom said it's ok, still got next year. But still...haiz...*speechless*

So now, since my first Sunday of December ain't occupied yet, I quickly registered for Marathon Run. Which Marathon's event again...? Of course it's Standard Chartered's Marathon!

Yeah, this Marathon and JLPT is always be a good competitors since ages ago. First is because, when I live in Singapore, I am nothing but to run marathon annually. Although I've just started run marathon last year. LOL. Secondly, JLPT such a huge thing to me. I'm satisfied if I can get N3 cert, well....at least I will keep it up until N2...?

And then now...I'm officially in usher ministry at Church!!!
*so proud of myself*

It's been the third/ fourth time already (cannot remember clearly) so I'm getting a hang of it.

I don't know why it's so difficult to ask people to move seats so that other people can have a seat, you know what I meant!?
Maybe it's pride.
Maybe I'm too scared to get impression of fierce usher.
Maybe it's just me who don't like being asked to move seats so I hesitantly to ask people to move.

One thing I'm pretty sure I need to really focus and do a good job otherwise they will kick me out. LOL.

Not only that, not be able to sit down when ushering, it's really tired me out!? Last time when I did SPG part job (during college time) I can just stand up for few hours nonstop. But now, alamak knee pain, hamstring pain, back pain (sometime) surely I feel like I'm ageing soon... So after ushering (and lunch, of course) I will directly going home and rest....

In conclusion....

Pardon me guys, if my blog now getting rare and rare overtime.
But I promise every time I have spare time surely I will update my blog, or maybe give birth to some tutorials or reviews very very soon!? Stay tune....

PhotoGrid app and miscellaneous

Yo! What's up yo!

I've been addicted to Photo Grid app recently. loves to collate 2-3 pictures into one image and add filter, stickers, font, colour, and etc...

Something like this...

Salad and all things green

#Foodporn

Btw, in another context, there's been tons of challenges in my work place, which are very challenging, I don't even have a spare time to do my own shit. I've been doing multiple tasks one after another, the tasks that my superior supposed to do but end up I gotta to do it by myself.
At first, I had a little discouragement coz why I should be the one who do this, why nobody care? but hey, think about it, maybe it's an opportunity for me to learn new experience and upgrade my skill. Well, turns every challenges into opportunity ain't easy yo!

Then look at the bright side, it's been a good 4 years since I join this company, met lots of colleagues from Singapore and from another countries, made friends, exchange stories and culture, and not to mention, exchanging pasalubong or omiyage, too! Feel so loved!

This was last Dec 2013 from Philippines team.
 Thanks, guys!

My fave! Dried Green Mangoes! Again, from Philippines

From Myanmar and Vietnam!

Teatox- 2 weeks review

Yo! Today marks the 2 weeks journey with TeaTox.

So the biggest change that I’ve noticed so far…

1. Flat stomach

Yes!

How not to be flat stomach when I do have urgency to go toilet at least twice a day?

I can feel like everything that I ate yesterday, it will be completely flushed out the next morning, without suffering from stomach-ache from the normal laxative- pills/ medication.
I mean, normally I used coffee for bowel movement every morning. So the initial plan is to replace my coffee with tea every morning. But I always failed. I swapped. I still drink my morning coffee as usual, and then drink this tea in the afternoon. As a result, it’s like double laxative-effect for me, that’s explain why I always go toilet twice a day :-D

I know I know it’s not good. So to compensate, I drink tons of water afterwards to prevent dehydration.

2. Dry lips

OMG! This is my problem when drinking the tea every single day!

I always got this problem!

Not only dry lips but chapped lips, the skin around my lips, too!

I slap tons of lipbalm and put at least 1-2 lip lipbalms on my workstation, in my bag, on my bedside table, on my drawer, literally, everywhere!

But I know it will be improved if I could control the tea consumption… But for now, I just satisfied with slapping lipbalm coz it’s giving me an excuse to buy a new one, heee (hopefully, lipbalm’s review soon)

3. Lose 800 gr- 1kg within 2 weeks!

Ok, it could be from loss of body water.

Or maybe it’s the result of flushing out every single day.

I'm not sure though but so far, no significant weight-loss, yo!

I’m completely ok if I don’t really lose that Kg that much. I'm more into those fabuluos muscle kind of thing. It makes me feel so healthy and build up my confident.

Another thing is that, I can feel that the morning tea don’t really give me a significant improvement especially those burn calories and energy-booster.
Maybe because the caffeine level not strong enough for my (coffee-addicted) body so when the day I have not enough sleep or when the day’s so hot and humid (typical Singapore weather) I still feel so lethargic even after drinking this morning tea. Maybe it’s just not for me…

On the contrary, I’m falling for the night tea.  I super love the peppermint scent, it makes me relax to the max and know what, I sleep better and earlier on the night I drink this tea! Like earliest as 10pm OMG! Not to mention, feel so good the next morning coz battery level fully-charged and then straight away go to toilet to flush out on whatever I ate on the previous day. Super love it!

4. Conclusion

So another 2 weeks to complete this programme, will update you in two weeks-time.

Oh ya with my new exercise routine, 2X a week Cardio and 1X a week Yoga, I have faith in myself that my weight will be remained the same, but instead, burn more calories and turns fats into muscle.

But not super muscle man like Ade Rai la. just tone up those flabby flesh into fabulous muscle.

And yes! You may call me exercise-freak! LOL

How to revive Apple Magic Mouse

Yep , as per title, how to revive Apple Magic Mouse.

Okay picture first!

So it's been a while I'm using magic mouse, I think one set of batteries can last around a year?  hmm...maybe it's around 1,5 years.

And I kept on postponing to change the new set of batteries despite many times of notifications ( on the top right on Mac screen) popped out until suddenly one day, it died. The mouse died.

Then I told to myself, okie, it's time to change batteries and I just popped up a new set of batteries.

Then I turn it ON

But the green light doesn't want to ON

The mouse died.

Oh no!

Well, actually it was happened few months ago but I was too busy at that point of time so I didn't bother to investigate. Laziness strikes again so I didn't really use the mouse until...last week, exactly.

I just googled on how to revive/ fix Apple Magic mouse, even scroll through tons of forums and websites, and nope, cannot really find the solution to fix this!

I was about a minute away to buy a new mouse, which cost me a bomb. Yes, Apple Magic Mouse in Singapore is $98 yo!

But suddenly, I found out a forum, with posted the same case like me, the mouse just died like that, when changing a new set of batteries. And yes! I'm not alone.Yippie!

In the forum, they are suggesting many many solutions such as:

1. Open up the battery cover, take out the battery, on the battery terminal, wipe it clean with clean and damp small cloth or alcohol soaked in the q-tips. Then let it dry for few minutes, pop new set of batteries in, and voila, your magic mouse just have a state of purification and now it's resurrected.

2.  Prepare the aluminium foil (cut it into small square and fold into 2-3 layers), open up the battery cover and put the small square aluminium foil into the battery terminal (plus terminal or minus terminal), and then pop the batteries in. To ensure double tightness, put a small paper and fold it like a  plane shape, squeeze the paper in between, put back the cover, and then switch ON the mouse. the green light should be ON.

3. Use only Energizer battery coz this mouse LOVES Energizer! No Duracell or Eveready or Sony or whatever brand, ok!

4. Put the mouse in the zip-lock bag or static bag, together with silica gel, you know the one to keep the snack/ tidbids/ shoes dry. Then leave it for 2 or 3 days in order for silica gel to pull out the moisture from the mouse. Err, skeptical, I think it will work when the mouse wet, spilled by the water/rain/ liquid something like that.

Okay, so guess which one is the solutions work for my mouse?

.
.
.

The third one!

Apparently, I went down to market to buy many many brands of battery. No la only 4 brands, Eveready, Panasonic, GP, and of course, Energizer.

Energizer is the most expensive one! I think because of this reason, my Apple Magic Mouse LOVES Energizer.

I did 1 and 3 and ta dah! my mouse revived again.

Luckily I don't need to do no. 2 and 4 but actually I already prepared aluminium foil and silica gel, heh! So troublesome. But think about it, it's still money-saving rather than buy a new one....

Thanks mouse, for not giving up on me. Please serve me well and I will treasure you. Think about that, never once I dropped you or left you alone, rite? (coz I always put my personal laptop at home, hahaha) So I hope this piece of information is useful.

LG retreat 2014- weekend gateway

On Hari Raya's long weekend, our LG went for LG retreat cum weekend gateway. We slept over night in Changi Village Hotel. It was fun but too short, only 2 days 1 night.

From this occasion we get to know each other well but the most difficult part is: Mobile phone distraction! Alamak!

.
.
.

So in the morning, we gathered at leader's house and kick start the retreat with short briefing. and then, play Amazing Race! The team divided into 3 groups and use 3 cars to go around Singapore and complete the selfie-task!

Morning Ferris Wheel!

One of the sister's fave brunch!

And then, lunch nearby Changi hotel so that we can check in early! I'm craving for ice-cream especially in hot-humid weather like now so dragged everyone to eat ice-cream while waiting for the check-in time.

Decent room look like this. Luckily my roommate's quite a neat person so our room not *that* messy with bra and underwear flying here and there, hehehe.... ~Thanks, roomie~ :-)

Again, because mobile phone= distraction, so I don't really take tons of picture :-(

Just enjoying the rest of the programme and jot down lots of notes.

Back to basic, eh. I don't know how not to die without handphone+ internet access. everywhere I go also need wifi. Haih.

So, after check-in and rest for about a minute or two, we all gathered in one of the sister's room to do Praise & Worship and sharing time.

Oppss... this is maybe only in my mind, but I got a feeling that the topic brought by leader is one of the most interesting topic ever, it's about healthy relationship (between BGR/ friend-friend relationship). Good timing. Just recently there were lots of *sparks* going on between team member so it's a good topic to remind us to set boundaries and respect each other as a friend.

Well, sometime we just feel so difficult to accept people who uniquely different from us. And then start to bitching around rather than tell the hurtful facts to that person. I admit, sometime I did that, too, unconsciously. We are imperfect human which has lots of flaws, well....And then, many people selfishly say hurtful thing indirectly, many times I catch people's *rolling eyes* here and there (maybe I'm one of them, too) hahaha ....or maybe they bitching about me, too!? hell, I don't even bother yo.

IGNORANT is indeed a BLISS.

Haih, sinful cycle. Can I don't get involved in this drama?

Then, after sharing is, break time! Actually I can use my break time to swim or try out the gym room or do short aerobics in hotel room (yep, I'm that cardio-freak) but end up helping the core team to do decoration for one of the brother's birthday celebration. But well, I don't mind, can't imagine we decorate the room in less than an hour, yeah break the record! :-)

No picture ler! even dinner time also no picture...

Then, second sharing session, we celebrated brother's birthday, play (sabo) games, sharing, taking tons picture (but not with my camera, sorry, we've got a new photographer here) and enjoying the night. ~pole dance pole dance~ opssss kidding :-)

Next morning, brekkie at hotel and then rushing to Sunday service.

Gym room

Lunch at Marche and gift exchange.

Take selfie first before we finish our retreat session.

Home sweet home!
