My secret talent….Curling hair with a flat iron

Which women on earth, doesn't like curly hair!?

Straight hair women wants a curly hair and curly hair women wants a straight hair.

That's called as, "the seaweed is always greener, in somebody else's lake."

No wonder, hair salon business such a boom in Singapore all countries.

I ain't got money. But I got creativity!

Nevertheless, I still want to be *occasionally* pretty with those sexy curly hair!

At least, temporarily! because I got no $ and time for this curly/ wavy perm's maintenance.
Sorry! Not sorry to myself, but sorry to those hair salon coz I'm not gonna spend single cents to do my hair there. Where I can just, achieve those sexy curl…with my flat iron!

Here's results!

Did those sexy curl hair with flat iron!
not bad eh spent a good 45 mins in front of mirror….

So seeing me doing this, Giselle's can't stand it and also ask to curl her hair, too! Mother and daughter's bonding, yo!

Giselle's 30 mins curl using flat iron

Like mother like daughter, eh.

Random updates….Thanksgiving….and Braces one year updates!

Here's a random updates. I just realised one thing, one important thing….thanksgiving is actually an exercise to our spiritual minds, that is to remind ourself, on how good is God, in our daily life.

Very simple to do….

For instance, small thing, God, thanks for sunshine and fresh air that I breath this morning….

or

God, thanks for my family and friends who always love and care for me even though we are very far apart. Thanks for Giselle, too she is cute and loving girl, and everybody love her very much.

or

God, thanks for my job, although it's sucks but I know that I just had to suck it up and live a life. Anyway, without this job, I won't be able to pay my bills, LOL.

or

God, thanks for the internet! I could've died without it! I need those Vampires Diaries and Walking Dead's antidote weekly….especially streaming those anime (too) like One Piece and Naruto, LOL.

So here's the random updatessssss…….

Starting with the definition of Thanksgiving.

Last weekend, me and Giselle went to Bugis Streets to buy cheap boots, for our upcoming Disneyland trip! Come to my surprise, Bugis Street only cater fashion for teenagers or young adults (*ahem*) like me. Very difficult to find those cheap boots for kids!

Yo! Giselle with her new sneaker shoes.
I didn't know its such a difficult to buy cheap boots for kids in Bugis Street!
So i bought her this instead! Cheap cheap $20 only!

My cheap boots only $ 23.90 at Vincci Bugis Street.
errmm I don't think it's Vincci that Malaysia brand.

Nah, now talking about my braces, I think the last time I did update about my braces was like, last September?? here's the post.

So what happened was that, I did braces since Sept 2012… now it's already 14 months and of course, I saw lots of improvements and I really happy! Really looking forward to the nice straight teeth!

Still half way more to go but if you can see my post last year, lots of restrictions , rite….cannot eat this cannot eat that, lose weight, etc…haha…thinking about that make me feel so ridiculous because in reality, I have adapted the life with braces and still enjoying life by eating all what I want! but it's just about the timing, well, that I had to manage it very well. Don't get it????

Ok, For example, if I want to eat curry or Malay Mie Rebus or something that contain food colouring….yes, I still can eat those but I'll eat it on the day of my dental appointment. So when the wire and bracket stained yellow, I can just change it the very same day :-)

Drink coffee or soda…of course I still can drink those but after drink I quickly rinse my mouth.

Potato chips?? Not a problem….peanuts?? Ok ah I don't really like peanuts so not a problem too!

Put energy to talk properly??? I think now I can sing rap song without fail, yo! my mouth is used to the braces so no more those slipped words + embarrassment!

At least 5 times brushing my teeth?? Nope, now I only brush teeth…morning, after eating breakfast, afternoon, after eating lunch, tea break or snacking I just do some mouth-rinsing after that, and then night time, after my dinner. So total is 3 times brushing teeth and 1 time mouth-rinsing. But I just have to make sure that I brush clean and thoroughly each time because I brush lesser. Indeed, I prefer quality rather than quantity.

Carry those big and bulky tooth brush kit??? Nope, now I just bring my L interdental brush. That's all!

The only thing that I realised is that, people didn't  notice that I'm wearing braces until my 10-13th month of my braces journey! Holy Cow! So powerful ah this Simpliclear!

Hmmm whatelse do I have to update? Oh ya, eating watermelon will stains the wire red colour but it will come off with few rinses….BUT eating cherry…especially those cherries on the strawberry shortcake one….will stains RED forever!

And then, my facial jaw has sunken a bit, many people thought that I've underwent fillers or surgery. I believe it's all due to braces, its really correct my teeth position, aligning it to the correct position, and bonus point is that, pushes back the jaw so that it creates more 3-D looks. Of course, 3-D looks add definition to the face and make people pretty, hehehe….

So that's the bonus point…by right, my treatment will ends next Sept 2014 but see how…hopefully can be ended earlier as I don't really mind the pain. my new revelation now, braces is like relationship, yo, the tighter the better, yo. LOL. Every time I went to dentist to do maintenance. Every time I felt my mouth so tight and sore. I just remind myself that this tightness is actually helping my teeth align to the correct position and sooner or later, I will end this braces journey so for the time being I had to, just suck it up and finish the race…..okay, that's all for today….phew…I didn't know I can type billion words, just to update my braces….thanks for reading!

This is the reason why I put on weight….Aquamarine buffet!

Seriously….it's like 3 weeks already I never exercise because….

1. When my exam coming up, I will just like, to use my free time (most of my free time is actually after office hour and weekend) to study and neglect exercise.

2. Too many rounds of celebrations. Yep, I'm not a hard-core party girl but I do appreciate hanging out with my friends and colleagues. Last two weeks, they celebrated my birthday…3 rounds of celebrations….. and then last week, one of the vendors treated us eat buffet at Aquamarine. And this was the second time I patronised this eating place. Lots of laughters, taking photos, eating, and chit-chatting. We had a lot of fun. Oh so heaven! I'm not such a foodie but hey, who can stands upright when you see lots of spreads (esp Jap food, for me) lying around in front of your very own eyes. Here's Last year post. Let's the pictures rolls….

These are seafood varieties! don't worry they are not as raw as you think...

Lamb, Chicken, FIsh Kebab

Lastly, Merry X'mas!

Gosh!!! I think my cholesterol level hikes again, haiz!

The facts that now my exam is finally over, I just gotta wait for my results and then certificate, too! Next year will be much more exciting because….it's conversation class! hehehe...

So now, there isn't any excuse for me not to exercise! from next week onwards, gotta exercise again! practice for 10km marathon! Ciao!a

Being a Christian….

This post is just about random thoughts….many sleepless night translated into this post….so sorry to become so melancholic despite the facts that I am a stink choleric + sanguine person.

Ok long story short, I'm in the big trouble now. Very big and something is about to change. And I don't like changes. Hey, not only me, I think all people resist changes. Thinking about that, it scared the hell out of me.

But what I'm gonna say thru this blog is that….

Being Christian, it doesn't change the facts that my life MUST runs smoothly….calmly….No typhoon, flood, thunderstorm , or whatsoever…..

I understand that there'll be ups….and downs….happiness….and…sorrow….many more come and go….just like that because it's LIFE!

But one thing for sure, being Christian, it does change my perspective, that every problems that I faced last time, right now, or in the future, it will be past eventually.

When I'm facing a problem, I know for sure that I'm not alone. God is always with me. All the time. And He will pull me up. He will protect me. He will be with me. All the time.

And knowing that, brings comfort to my heart, inspire me, console me, and most importantly, strengthen me, to pull me through….throughout this hell circumstances.

He teaches me how to think positively, how to pick the lessons from whatever happened and said and done. To re-evaluate again of what I've done….To get more closer to Him. My security is in Him. He is my ultimate hiding place and my green pastures whom I can rest my head on…. and I know just in Him, I can find peace….happiness….be complete….and not to be a full of pretences.

Thanks God, for your word, spoken to me. I love you, Abba….help me to become…a kind of person…that you really want me to be. Help me to get closer and closer to you. To become like you. Amen.

The more you ageing, the lesser Birthday wishes are!? Agree!?

Last week I went to MatchBox 20 concert. It was so magically amazing. It was so addicted. A dream come true. I thought for one second, my heart stop beating for 2 hours, enjoying Rob Thomas's voice and ahhhh….I think I'm addicted to his voice now. For the past one week, I've been youtube-ing MatchBox 20's songs and play, replay, play, replay again and again. His voice is like marijuana, to me :-D

Hey guys, a little tips for those concert goers. Hello!? can you, at least, bath first, wear nice nice perfume before going to concert? I bumped into some malays (sorry, tried my best not to be racist here) and their vivid armpit smell ruin my whole concert experience what the F***!!!

Ok, overall it was a magical night, everything was so good, songs was so great, it was big, and awesome, and no regrets, except:

1. I should've just smuggled my big gigantic camera. Haih. Taking photos with Samsung phone was unbearably disgusting! I think all my pics here are either blur or dark or can't see at all. :-(

2. I should've just wear my high heels. I mean, comfortable high heels. Yes! I am shorty (compare to those any-moh size) and I think most of the time I saw Rob singing Bent/ Bright Lights/ Push/ 3A.M through their armpit! I lose count on how many times I need to tiptoe. BIGGEST REGRET!

3. I should've just brought ear-plugs! I think I'm a half dead deaf now. Pardon me, if I can't hear properly when people talk to me. Good points is, I don't even hear anything when my boss grumpy. haha.

Anyway, human learns by mistake. So I know what to do/ bring for a next time concert. Thanks, mistakes!

Oh ya, I love free standing one because I really can dance/stand/ shout/take photos/ record video or a.k.a express myself. Let my hair loose.  And most likely you get a chance to be seen by your rock/pop stars. I was in cloud nine for a second when our eyes meet!

So let's the pics roll….

And and….last Wednesday was my birthday. 26th birthday. Haiz….one thing that I realised is that, the more I'm ageing, the less birthday wishes now. I don't know....I think like, even my last birthday's wishes haven't come true, and yet, how to add another more!?

So I think to make it simple, I just wished that I will succeed in my Jap's test, stay healthy and happily ever after (like in those fairy tale's thingy) AMEN.

Yep, as you can see below pics, I PUT ON WEIGHT! My cheek's chubby here. The other ways to look at it is, I'm now prosperous, haha…no la…it's just that these few weeks I used my free time to study Jap rather than exercising. Very stress ler, I feel like studying really exhausting than working!
I eat twice portion coz really…. using brain to memorise/ learn something new is damn tiring. For those people work and study like me must've been nodding their head now. LOL.

I'm a bit plump here but it's okay, my exam is over soon and I have THE REST OF MY LIFE to loose weight. So again, I don't mind putting on weight for the time being, but soon as exam's over I will go back to exercise again to shed those pounds!

Eating out at Hi Fu Mi
