HK day 2

After I rested for a night, I felt so refresh in the next morning, ready to conquer the world.

Yo! Day 2, we went to Ngong Ping yo!

It is situated in Lantau Island, Tung Chung MTR, just a station away from Sunny Bay (HongKong Disneyland).

Without further due, let's pictures do the talk.

Oh no I just realised I drew my brow too thick like... !O7#%$*^%6C@*7! gggrrrr!

Pepper lunch for my breakfast plus coffee!

Let me take selfie! Long queue just to buy cable car ticket!

One more!

Can't remember the price though, check website for more detail!

Cable car!

Ledy with cable car behind

It was foggy and drizzle that morning, so we couldn't see anything, just a thick fog which feel so adventurous and mysterious....But we managed to take selfie before reach the top of the hill.
When we reached there the temperature was like 8-10C!? and the wind is so strong I feel like it could blew me away (literally)!

Selfie in cable car

The temperature is about 8-10C

Some touristy photos

Most of the time, I put my hood on and use my long hair as a scarf!

Wonder Ledy, conquer the world (with a piece of leather jacket)

After roaming around, we decided to explore Lantau Island, aka go to Ngong Ping village!

Welcome to Tai O Village

Ngong Ping map

Beautiful Lady with beautiful scenery

Ops sorry no picture of me coz my hair looks so shitty with big wind 24/7 and moreover, I'm busy....

...snacking!

I'm more into the local culinary,  trying lots of local food and don't mind to queue up, just to experience local food!

Something fried doughnut...which so so! not so tasty though!

Oh ya before that we went for a long walk and spent quality time together, just admiring on how mighty and beautiful is God's creation.

Panorama!

Panorama view!

Good jogging track. LOL
Then we are back to see the big Buddha statue, but none of us interested to climb but they said it is a good 360 view of Lantau Island.

But after see this thing, I cowardly took a step back...and decided not to climb up the stairs...LOL

Confirm my legs will sore at least a week, after climbing this stairs

So here we go, Buddha statue from afar

Hehe touristy photos again.
see my hair looks like shit, rite!?

A big...dont know what

On the way back, finally the sun shines again to clear away the fog, we could see the scenery now!

HK city on the cable car view

After that, we ate dinner at Citygate mall (wah! just realised we didn't really have a proper lunch!)

and go to Asia World-Expo for a quick shopping.

A friend of mine told us that there are lots of Factory Outlet in the Expo and it's selling cheap! But when we went there, it was...nothing....just a normal expo with huge auditorium to held an exhibition/ concert that kind. We saw quite a numbers of youngster (like my age, ahem) running around so we thought got good bargain or sale or discount or something like that. Turns out, they are in a rush to catch ACCA/ CAT national exam. LOL.

And the place where there are lots of Factory Outlet is in...Citygate! The shopping mall that we just visited earlier! hahaha next time must do some homework. LOL. But it's ok at least I got captured this picture just to proof that we visited HK Expo liao. :-)

HK day 1

Remember the last post, I don't want to visit HK anymore due to the bad experience and rude customer service?

Yeah, I have to suck up my statement.

Sorry, I take back my words, man... Indeed, this year I went back to HK for a short holiday, together with my friend. Maybe the ideas of going HK with a friend of mine, will change my perspective of HK....we'll see...

But photos first!

Brekkie @ Cathay!

Airport Express!

First thing to purchase, Octopus Card and Airport Express ticket!
and then SIM card coz we can't live without internet, LOL

And then we proceed to check in hotel.

The hotel's name is I hotel, basically it's located just few steps away from Tsim Sha Tsui area. Quite decent hotel with clean and tidy room. A perfect location but very limited space. Well, typical HK budget hotel so don't expect too much.

After check in and settle down for awhile, we went outside roaming the area of Tsim Sha Tsui. It's near Avenue of Star and Heritage 1881 so we're strolling around but first, let's have a lunch yo!

First meal in HK

Here's national heritage 1881 (if I remember the name correctly)

Apparently this spot is a scenic location for taking pre-wed photoshoot! Many couples doing photo taking here and we, tourist have to *fight* for the good spot but luckily, they are friendly enough towards the tourist so it's all good!

Then, Avenue of Stars!

And famous HK skyscraper from panorama view!

Oh ya, after that we went back to hotel and I was so exhausted, so I called it a day and sleep as early as 9pm. Bit aching here and there and feverish but I managed to pull through the night because the next day we'll be going to....Ngong Ping!

My dinner: Naan and chicken mushroom soup: for sick people! :-(

Ok done! Day 1 down! Next post is Day 2 coming up soon

Thanks for reading.

Welcome 2015!

List of gratitude 2014 and New Year Resolutions 2015

Okay, I decided to combine my list of gratitude 2014 and New Year resolutions 2015.

It’s only 5th days of 2015, meaning, it’s not too late to plan New Year resolutions, right?

When one of the sisters asking me about priority, well….I’m not too sure about what kind priority should I prioritize on 2015. Instead, I’ll go with the flow, even though my priority not as holy as Pope Francis, you know, such as make impacts in other’s people life, or the desire to save the world or something like that.  I just let God take control. What I mean is, I will just set my expectation right, for the things that within my control, but other than that, I just let God take control.

Ok, enough for the intro, let’s move to what the things that I feel gratitude in 2014.

2014’s Gratitude:

Health:
  • Thanks God for giving me opportunity to exercise twice or thrice a week. Despite busy schedule, I still have quality time for Saturday morning jog, casually my quality time with God (yes, I talk to God during my morning jog, isn’t cool!?) and even, my colleagues are very motivated enough to drag me to the gym on weekdays.
  • On April, I experienced the power of healing from God, the first time in my life I encounter God’s presence, which is surreal, and somehow it freshen me from inside out, thanks God.

$$$:
  • I’ve been stopping my *once a month shopping indulgence* for quite some time, no more Gelish manicure and at first, I feel so naked without my gelish nail but now it’s ok already, not only my nails are strong and healthy now, I feel more pure and natural J
  •  Oh ya, I found it interesting to shop in Bugis streets now, my fave shop now moved from Bugis junction to Bugis streets, haha!

Career:
  • Still negative ler at work, cannot prevent one ah this one. But I’m quite lucky despite the negativity, I’m still struggling to combat the negativity in the office, by tuning radio or listening to the music, LOL.

Spiritual:
  • Go back to serve LG as praise/ worship leader and Holy Communion (it’s my fave roles coz don’t need to practice one, hahaha).
  • Then my achievement to be an usher is unlocked!
  • Sorry, I can’t donate my blood since I have a very low count of blood and also my dirty Accutane blood still remain in my blood mainstream at least until 8- 12 months old.

Education:
  • Ahhh I’ve missed N3 Jap’s registration date so I need to enrol next year! Hmmpphh!
  • But on the other hand, I finished my semester 1 conversation class and N3 preparatory class.

Relationship:

  • I successfully called my mom almost every day, thanks to the LINE free call. And I’ve given mom my Note1, so mom you’ve gotta learn how to use smartphone, pls!

Beauty:
  •  Still wearing Obagi but only on alternate nights. Eating clean and healthy really improved my skin complexion and now I feel that my skin less oily! No more borderline cholesterol anymore and I successfully stop Accutane without having a set back!

Other than that, I feel very blessed still can go for multiple holidays such as: Boracay @ March, HK @ December, and then buying new camera, and went to Taylor Swift’s RED concert @ June…and then Giselle now is P2 growing bigger and taller and healthier as before. and the list goes on.

So now, New Year Resolutions 2015

Health:

  • Maintaining exercise thrice a week, with a mixture of gym, yoga, and morning jog. Oh ya I’ve been practicing yoga since May and I thank God that I found Yoga. It’s really helps lots on toning my muscle and keep healthy lifestyles.
  • Marathon (again!?, save it for first Sunday of December yo!)

$$$:
  • This year I want to limit my overseas holiday, feel like saving up for future and maybe going for a short mission trip (that one save it for spiritual, ok?)
  • I want to go to Japan to try onsen and stuff….anybody want to tag along?

Career:
  • Salary increment pls…and more job satisfaction pls. Luckily since I have laptop now, I can clear some work during weekend, but no point of complaining, just suck it up and do it.
Spiritual:
  • Serve in LG and ushering ministry. Keep it a momentum.
  • And maybe (I hope! Pls God, open the door!) Go for a short mission trip.

Education:

  • Enrol Advance II class for a year (they called it CA class). Now my class is every Tuesday night.
  • N3 test on June, pls don’t forget the registration date!!! So I’ll be busy studying for the first half of the year.

Relationship:
  • Not only I love God but I need to love God’s people, rite? I will love my family more, my friends more, and my community more.
  • I will be, more understanding, more sensitive to the needs, more friendlily to the church people, try accepting what they truly are. Stop being ignorant, Deb! Because God loves us first that is why the love pouring out to the people surrounds us, Amen.
  • Discipline Giselle when I need to! Now she knows how to talk back and reasoning with me! Hmmppff!

Beauty:
  • Besides wearing Obagi, I’m on DIY PMD’s treatment and as a result, I’m shy to the sun now.  I promised I will not skip a day without: 1. Sunblock. 2. Eye cream. Why eye cream!? Now that my dark circle is getting worst I really should do something about it!
  • Eating healthy = Beautiful skin from the inside out, bye bye expensive cream and serum!
  • My braces taking off very very soon! Yippie! Major make over is happening in 2015 (Can't wait!)

Ok that’s all. Thanks!

Welcome to the world, Baby Chloe...

Welcome to the world, Baby Chloe Nathanie Japar.

It’s been a pleasure to see you, growing healthily day by day.

You are the new addition to our family, the little critter of joy.

Your crying is like music to us. Sniffing you is one of our favourite hobbies. Making milk and changing diapers become one of our highlights of the day. Seeing you sleep, watching you grow, and holding you in our arms, is indeed a joyful moment to be savoured. You are our little angel, a gift from God, to all of us. We can’t express enough how grateful we are to have you in our life. Baby Chloe, we love you very much. :-)

And as for my sister, hey sis, welcome to the parenthood life!

It’ll be not easy from now on…There will be many sleepless nights, endless changing diapers, finding new method to soothe a crying baby, and the list goes on and on. But trust me; it is all worth it when you see her growing…healthy and happy baby.

Your life is changing.

You’ll discover a new thing about parenthood every single day, how to soothe your baby, the do and don’t about taking care of baby.

Now you learn yourself humming a lullaby and memorizing children’s song, rather than listening to the new Taylor Swift’s song.

Now you learn that it’s not about you anymore but it’s about her. Your life is evolving around her. Your decision is now involving her and suddenly your personal goals are less matter anymore. The one that is constantly in your mind is…her.

But don’t worry, sis….

It takes a village to raise children. With the support from parents/ parents in law, everything will be okay. I pray that God will give strength for your post-natal recovery, wisdom to face hectic schedule with a new life with baby, peace and calm in your heart… God is in control. Amen.

OMG! Time flies very fast. Now I'm officially aunty, welcome to the aunthood...
